  • Apataki Atoll has been instrumented over a period of 3 months (from April 2022 to late July 2022) separated into 2 Legs. Physical process such as water level, currents ciruclation, water exchanges into passes and "hoa" and water column stratification have been measured to characterized the hydrodynamic functioning of this semi-opened pearl farming atoll. Numerous moorings have been deployed into lagoon, passes, hoa and external reef slope stations with common autonomous oceanographic instruments measuring at high sampling frequency. During the sampling period, one major meteorological event occurred, a distant mega swell hit the South-West Islands of French Polynesia including Apataki on 14th July and has significantly impacted its hydrodynamic. Sampling strategy available on Sextant - (Marine Geographic Information System.)-[https://sextant.ifremer.fr/Donnees/Catalogue#/metadata/e551d586-262e-4071-b881-70d8a1659647] More informations on (ANR MANA project.)-[https://www.coreus.ird.fr/index.php/home-en/home/research/portfolio/ongoing-projects/projet-mana] Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.

  • COALA (COAstal LAgoon, Ref. PTDC/MAR/114217/2009) project aimed to contribute to study the nutrients and particulate matter dynamics - exchanges between Ria Formosa, south of Portugal, and the adjacent ocean through a multiple inlet system. As part of this project, two pressure sensors were placed in Ria Formosa to acquire sea level and temperature data, one in Faro-Olhão inlet and another 6 km upstream, in the Faro commercial pier, in addition to seventeen semi-diurnal tidal experimental campaigns carried out in the three inlets of the western sector of Ria Formosa. Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.

  • Galata platform real time data is one of the most important sources of multi-parameter operational information in the Black Sea which will serve for monitoring, verification and improvement of modeling results and forecasts as well as for collecting long time series of data needed for climatic research. It also provides useful real time information for marine industry and safety.

  • This dataset contains high-precision pressure and temperature between the 15th of January 2020 and the 15th of June 2020 on EMSO-Canarias (a.k.a. ESTOC) observatory by the EGIM. High-precision pressure is one of the 7 core parameters monitored by the EGIM, EMSO Generic Instrumental Module. The EGIM prototype was deployed at the ESTOC site at 3580m depth, 100km North of Gran Canaria, to monitor local hydrodynamic variability and complement the data obtained by the ESTOC station. Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.
